Seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, operation, and optimization of IBM Maximo, ensuring robust and scalable infrastructure for asset management and enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in IBM Maximo with a strong understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud technologies.

 Key Responsibilities:

1. Deployment and Maintenance:

• Manage installation, configuration, and upgrades of IBM Maximo MAS and its modules.
• Deploy and maintain Maximo Application Suite in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, or Azure).
• Configure MAS modules, user roles, and security settingsas needed.

2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Develop and maintain IaC scripts using tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Optimize Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift configurations for containerized deployments.

3. CI/CD Pipelines:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support Maximo updates, customizations, and patches.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate the integration of custom features.

4. System Monitoring and Optimization:

• Set up monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) to ensure Maximo system availability, scalability and performance.
• Analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements in server utilization, database queries, and application performance.

5. Integration and Automation:

• Manage integrations with third-party applications and services using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual intervention and downtime.

6. Security and Compliance:

• Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and ensure secure configurations for Maximo environments.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and compliance checks.

7. Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Maximo-related incidents and resolve system issues promptly.

8. Documentation and Training:

• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Train internal teams on DevOps practices and Maximo system operations.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite deployment and administration.
• 2+ years in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in IBM WebSphere, Db2, and Maximo system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, or PowerShell).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience integrating MAS with enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, or enterprise service buses (ESB)
